Service

Heavy-metal and pollutant screening

Laboratory-based assessment of a heavy-metal or pollutant burden — and, where a relevant burden is confirmed, a medically supervised, targeted elimination.

All services

Environment, diet, occupation or dental amalgam can lead to a burden with heavy metals (e.g. lead, mercury, cadmium, arsenic, aluminium). Diagnostics always come first: a laboratory measurement in blood (whole blood) and, depending on the question, additional analyses. Only the findings decide whether and which measure makes sense.

This service is deliberately diagnostics-led: first we measure, then we interpret. There is no blanket "detox" without findings here — elimination is carried out exclusively where a confirmed, medically relevant burden and a clear indication exist.

If a relevant burden is documented, we discuss the options: reducing the source, supporting the body's own excretion and — where indicated — a medically supervised chelation therapy with established agents. Course and kidney function are monitored throughout.

The assessment is closely linked to nutritional and micronutrient medicine, because elimination can also affect trace-element balance and sensible substitution must be considered.

Services

  • History of possible sources of exposure (occupation, environment, diet, amalgam)
  • Heavy-metal and pollutant analysis in blood (whole blood)
  • Medical interpretation in the overall context
  • Where indicated: medically supervised elimination / chelation therapy
  • Accompanying micronutrient diagnostics and substitution
  • Follow-up including kidney function

At a glance

  • Heavy-metal analysis in whole blood (e.g. lead, mercury, cadmium, arsenic)
  • Medical interpretation of findings instead of blanket "detox"
  • Elimination only with a confirmed burden and clear indication
  • Private service with invoice

When it makes sense

  • Concrete suspicion of a heavy-metal burden (occupational or environmental)
  • Unclear complaints with an exposure indication in the history
  • A wish for a sound assessment rather than treatment on suspicion

How it works

  • 1Initial consultation and history of possible sources
  • 2Blood draw and laboratory analysis
  • 3Review of findings and interpretation
  • 4Only where indicated: elimination plan and follow-up

Important notes

  • Diagnostics come first — elimination is only carried out with a confirmed, relevant burden.
  • Chelation therapy is a medical intervention with its own risks; benefits and risks are explained individually.
  • This service does not replace an occupational-medicine assessment.
